Kostmayer Construction was a second-generation marine construction company based in Southeast Louisiana. They predominantly worked locally in the public sector, building marine structures to protect bridges along the lower Mississippi River, building large docks for ports, and constructing civil projects for local municipalities.

Challenge

The company needed to diversify its work and wanted to grow into the industrial and petrochemical markets along the Gulf Coast.

Solution

Our CMO, Perryn, worked with Kostmayer’s second generation, which included their VP of Business Development and VP of Engineering, to update the company’s brand image with a new logo and website, position as a critical, out-of-the-box design-build contractor, create sales-assist marketing materials, including tradeshow materials, and submit for local and national construction and safety awards.

Results

Kostmayer Construction grew by 800% over the past decade and built a solid reputation for “building the unconstructable” with creative solutions for industrial and petrochemical facilities from Texas to Florida. The company also earned ABC National’s Diamond STEP (Safety Training Evaluation Process) Award, several ABC Pelican and ABC Bayou Excellence in Construction awards, and the ABC National Excellence in Construction award for the L’auberge Casino in Baton Rouge, LA.
